Colonial Sash and Door was founded in 1989, as a building/remodeling materials supply company by its current owner Timothy Rollins. Operations began in Hedgesville, West Virginia, facilitating three primary product lines, windows, doors and millwork. As business grew quickly, the need for a more professional facility in a geographically desirable location became apparent. In the Spring of 1990, operations were moved to Frederick, Maryland, where the company resides today. Our company continues to grow, and we currently supply products to customers in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware and Washington, D.C.

Our interior door shop consists of two separate lines, capable of producing 400+ door units daily. Our back splining casing machine affords the customer a tight mitre joint with no visible fasteners. Our "High Profile" door machines allow us to hang today's popular raised moulding door slabs; 6/8, 7/0, or 8/0 heights.
In addition to our "production" door shops, Colonial Sash and Door Inc. also offers its customers "custom" interior and exterior door hanging. Our exterior door shop allows us to cost effectively hang exterior steel, fiberglass, and wood doors. We have the ability to hang our Benchmark/Therma-Tru lines, as well as a customers own door. This shop also allows us to modify, to you individual specifications, many of the doors we hang.
