In 1989, in my parent's basement in Fairport NY, Window Repair Systems was born. We focused solely on retrofitting commercial windows. Eventually this lead the development of our own proprietary AAMA Class 5 Balance, the Turbo2. In 1991 Advantage Manufacturing was established to bring manufacturing of window components in-house for the ever-growing demand for window repair services. This included 4 bar hinges, window shoes, a proprietary guide system for retrofit jobs, and much more. Throughout the 90s and 00s, Window Repair Systems underwent several changes, including moving all the way to our current headquarters in South Carolina.
