Michael Wiencek has a passion for making change in people's lives. He founded Wiencek + Associates on that very principle, along with a mission to create an environment where other architects could be nurtured and challenged. Brad has over 12 years of executive experience in real estate development, property management and business development. He specializes in improving operations, delivering excellence and continually growing a stellar team. Scott brings more than 25 yrs of experience in design and master planning of award-winning residential, commercial and institutional projects.

Our firm's founder, Michael Wiencek, has worked with the Historic District Commission for the City of Gaithersburg, MD, as well as the MD State Association of Historic Traditions. He owned a registered historic home for over 20 years in Gaithersburg. Our Gaithersburg, MD office at The Thomas Cannery, is a nationally registered historic building. It's this intimate daily experience with architectural history that became the catalyst for the historic renovations and adaptive reuse projects we do. We understand the landscape well enough to know what you really need to do in order to achieve your historic status.
