The roots of Elevatus go way back to 1958 when a handful of architects set up shop in Fort Wayne, Indiana. That young firm soon became Schenkel & Schultz, known throughout the region for its amazing body of work and longstanding partnerships. Over the years, we've continued to grow and reach new heights. Following a 2015 restructuring, we even changed our name to Elevatus (el-ah VAH-tus) to better reflect the elevated principles we hold dear. Today, we continue our tradition not to design just for the sake of designing.

What's new?

We're building the next generation of architects one 5th grade class at a time! It was delightful to receive so many "Thank You" letters from a group of 5th graders we spoke to. A lot of them said they would like to work at Elevatus when they grow up! 🎉💙
