In 1965, Alan Grinsfelder left an established career with a Fort Wayne architectural firm to accept a full time faculty position in the Architectural Technology Program at the new Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne regional campus. At the same time, he opened his own architectural practice and, in 1968, Grinsfelder Associates Architects made its home in the historic West Central neighborhood of downtown Fort Wayne. Serving northeast Indiana for more than 50 years, our staff is committed to providing the highest level of excellence to our community.
Successful design requires comprehensive knowledge of the users, spaces, and features of a building. We are engaging listeners, asking the appropriate questions to thoroughly understand how a building will be utilized. Alan Grinsfelder began practicing architecture in 1958 when he obtained his degree in architecture from the University of Michigan. He worked at two firms in Fort Wayne before starting his own firm, Grinsfelder Associates Architects, in 1965. Alan enjoys working with people and solving their problems by creating the best, most innovative solutions.

According to Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly, the new restaurant "has an open, swanky modern supper club look" and will likely feature "big juicy burgers, balsamic-drizzl ed rustic pizza with globs of mozzarella, andouille corn dogs and Texas Twinkies."
