Harrell Architects is a medium sized regional firm that specializes in small to medium sized construction and renovation projects. With our two focused specialty studios: Healthcare and Commercial, we are able to complete a diversity of projects. Our Healthcare studio includes projects such as Hospitals, Surgery Centers, Labs, Medical Office Buildings, Clinics, Imaging Centers, Cancer Treatment Centers, Dental Suites and Medical Equipment Planning. Our Commercial Studio serves our Banking, Retail, Sports, Liturgical, Food Service, Hospitality, Corporate, Manufacturing and Industrial Clientele.

Since Harrell Architects began, more than 80 percent of our work has involved renovations or additions to existing occupied facilities. Projects like this require thorough advance planning to minimize disruption to the daily activities of the occupants. Sometimes future growth has been anticipated or capital has been earmarked for construction spending. Under these circumstances, a renovation project may evolve over a period of years. Through our Master Planning Services, we can establish an order or scope of work for ongoing as well as future construction projects.

Spaces created by our Interior Designers reflect their spirit for the design process. Whether it is a special room, a large open area, or simply circulation from one point to another, our design solutions focus on the use of a space and its relationship with others. Attention to the flow of people and work complements considerations regarding appearance and ambiance. The final interior design - including the space plan, finish materials, color, lighting, furnishings and accessories - provides clear direction to the builder.
