We are committed to creating custom landscape designs which are sensitive to the environment, meet town planning requirements, and exceed client expectations. Michael Callan consistently provides the vision, knowledge, and effective communication necessary to achieve exceptional results. This privately situated estate in the Tobin Clark Knoll Top neighborhood of Hillsborough, California was inspired by Spanish Mediterranean influences. The landscape design embraces breathtaking views reaching from downtown San Francisco to the San Mateo Bridge and beyond.

Michael Callan earned his degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1991. His studies provided him with a strong foundation and a thorough understanding of plants, topography, soils, irrigation, drainage and design theory. His extensive travels abroad continue to influence his designs and provide him with inspiration. Michael opened his design studio in 1994, after he became a licensed Landscape Architect. Since then he has been designing unique residential landscapes, incorporating elements such as water features, arbors, fireplaces, outdoor kitchen areas, detailed plantings, and accent lighting.

What's new?
