If you suspect grub worms are attacking your lawn, you can make a few basic checks. Pull the grass from a brown spot. If it comes up easily and the roots are eaten away, it signals grub worms. Also pull up on the lawn edge bordering the drive or walkway; you may be able to spot them around brown areas.
