The Don Young Company was incorporated in 1978 in Dallas. We are a family-owned and managed wholesale manufacturing business and own our locations listed below. Don Young's initial focus on manufacturing and installing storm windows and doors and thermally-broken aluminum replacement windows has developed over the years into significant company expertise in product application, sales and field service. Don Young Company was one of the first manufacturers of vinyl windows in Texas. All of our products are designed for energy-efficient performance throughout our region and are manufactured to custom-size specifications.
The DYC San Antonio branch has many years of valuable experience serving the window and door industries. Our branch manager, Charlie Horton, has been with the company since 2013 and has an additional 27 years of experience in windows and doors serving the building trades of South Texas. Walt Williamson is our branch salesman and has been with the company since 1990 and has more than 35 years of experience in the window and in-home retail sales business. Mary, our friendly and knowledgeable customer service representative, has been with DYC since 1994 and has years of experience in serving the building and remodeling trades.
The Don Young Company Oklahoma City staff has many years of experience serving the window and door industry. Our branch manager, Jim Butenhoff, has over 40 years of experience in the window industry and has been with Don Young since 1992. Tom Fair, our sales representative, has over 35 years experience in the window industry, and Benino Pacheco, our delivery driver, has been with DYC for seven years. Jennifer Barnes, our Office Manager, has been with us for four years, while bringing a total of 10 years of experience.
Our Houston branch has a very experienced staff with many years in the window industry. Branch manager Scott Grover has been with the company over 33 years and has 37 years in the business. Jon Lantz, with over 17 years of building materials experience, is the outside sales person for the Houston branch and also possess great technical and installation knowledge. Inside sales professional Gene Sandefur has over 25 years of service and is eager to help our customers with their window needs. Jon Lantz also heads up the service department at our Houston location.
