Mark Miller founded Service 1st Lawn Care in 1990. Miller considers the business a "Niche Service" as we soley concentrate on the turf aspect of lawn care. Our technicians are all trained and licensed, all of whom have been with Service 1st since 1990. Our goal is to provide customers with the best service, materials, and equipment. To provide timely information and direction that will help give them a lawn they will be proud of. We know that if you are proud of your lawn you will tell others how happy you are with us.

1. Broadleaf Weeds - Broadleaf weeds are usually very easy to identify. They look different from grasses and are physically different than grasses. This difference allows for the use of selective weed control methods to control broadleaf weeds without injury to the desirable grass. Dandelions and Clover fall under this category. 2. Grasses - Grassy weeds are often difficult to identify in a lawn or landscaping environment because they look similar to the desirable turf. Once prevelant in your lawn it is very hard to eliminate the Weed Grass without harm to the desirable turf.

We even space these treatments throughout the year, in order to provide the best possible results for your lawn. As your Hometown Lawn Care Service, we know the fertilizer that best fits your lawn's needs. We apply the needed amounts at the most beneficial times of the year to promote beautiul healthy growth. Fertilizer becomes mixed with the moisture in the soil. It is absorbed by the plants feeder-roots. Once inside the plant, nutrients are distributed to the areas where they are needed. These nutrients can go to work building new roots.
