We perform top quality asbestos testing and abatement services along with full and selective building demolition, mold testing and remediation, and environmental consulting to clients throughout Central Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and the East Coast. We also perform air duct cleaning, and industrial cleaning, and lead paint abatement. We're known in our industry for doing the job right the first time while maintaining a safe work environment within full compliance of all regulations. All it takes to make this happen is to apply our experience, a high-quality workforce, hands-on management and allocate the correct amount of resources to each job regarding environmental hazard control.

EHC Associates, Inc. environmental consulting division was founded in 1987 by William C. Gallagher, AIA, and became a pioneer in environmental consulting. The company began as an architectural firm in the early 1980's. However, in response to the AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act) legislation of 1986, the company profile changed. Since few environmental service companies existed at that time, Mr. Gallagher decided to launch an environmental consulting division of EHC Associates to serve his clients and meet their environmental services needs in regard to these new government mandates.

The remediation division of EHC Associates, Inc., e.h.c., that is a mold remediation company that has performed mold testing and remediation on thousands of projects of both commercial and residential scope since 2004. We take pride in the expertise we have attained in this field over the years and are able to offer quality work at an affordable cost to our clients. EHC Associates, Inc., located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, performs mold testing and remediation throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states.

We continue to be the leading experts when it comes to asbestos abatement projects. Our founder, William Gallagher, started this company as an Architectural firm. The EPA created the AHERA program to regulate asbestos in schools in the early 1980's. Mr. Gallagher became a pioneer in this new field, traveling the country teaching other architects and school districts how to comply with these new Government standards. From there, our environmental consulting division was born. Because we have been consultants for so long, we understand all regulations that impact abatement projects.

Our industrial cleaning division has the capability of cleaning explosive and built up dust from all areas of your facility; we can also clean dust collection systems including bag-houses and collection ductwork. We have the ability to clean and sanitize garbage/trash chutes in high rise buildings, condominiums, and commercial offices. We keep a focus on training and safety to protect building occupants and our employees when performing these types of projects. Keeping your surroundings clean is important for the health and safety of all those who traverse your facility.

If you're in the market for commercial duct cleaning, look no further than the experienced team at EHC Associates. We've been performing commercial air duct cleaning since 1987 and have built a reputation among business owners as one of the go-to commercial duct cleaners in Pennsylvania. Our trained team has the equipment and resources required to ensure that air ducts in your facilities are clean and running as efficiently as possible. You'll also be pleased to know we strictly adhere to NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) cleaning recommendations when performing commercial cleanings.

If you're in the market for demolition services, whether it be full building or selective demolition, e.h.c. is the demolition company to call. We have the experience and equipment needed to handle your project with the precision and care that it deserves. Abatement is controlled demolition, so when we decided to start a demolition division, we knew it would be a great fit. We offer both selective and full building demolition. Today, renovation projects require a fast turn around and for such demands to be met, it's necessary to work with a demolition company that can ensure a swift turnaround on the work that needs to be performed.

William "Bill" Gallagher founded the Design Coalition as an Architectural firm in the late 1970's after two successful tours in Vietnam as a Navy Seabee. This company was first ran out of his home, and would then move to West Chester, Parkesburg, and then ultimately to Lancaster. With changing asbestos regulations, it was proving more difficult for Architects to design school renovation projects because of these new regulations which were put in place to govern asbestos in schools. Bill saw the need to learn as much as he could about asbestos and the AHERA regulations so he could better serve his school district clients and make sure they were within federal compliance.

John has been with EHC since 1988; first as an air monitoring technician and has advanced to become President and Partner in the firm. His education in architectural design and numerous environmental certifications have given John the understanding and expertise to maintain the level of service we require of ourselves. John is considered an expert in the field of asbestos, lead, and mold (as it pertains to the built environment). John has designed many large scale abatement and remediation projects for both our Consulting and Abatement divisions.

We consider ourselves the pioneers of environmental consulting and AHERA regulation management. Our founder, William Gallagher, was an Architect; the AHERA regulations were put into law in the 1980's with lots of new rules and regulations that schools had to follow in order to manage their asbestos containing building materials. Because Mr. Gallagher was an architect, these rules had a profound impact on design and cost when renovating schools. Bill saw an avenue to help school districts maintain compliance, so he became a certified management planner and actually traveled the country teaching school district personnel and other architects how to comply with the AHERA regulations.

Because of our vast knowledge of building and HVAC systems along with our expertise in solving indoor air quality problems, we knew that creating an air duct cleaning division would be a great fit to our remediation and abatement services. Our state-of-the-art air duct cleaning services strictly adhere to all cleaning recommendations from NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association). Without the knowledge and experience that we bring to every job, it would be difficult to correctly perform this important service.
