Blast Services

Graffiti removal is one of our specialties. I really hate to see property destroyed but if and when it happens I have the fix for you! This is a service that really works well on brick, block, concrete or any substrate that has had graffit damage. We have been doing association work since we started and now we are doing more Property managers projects. Media blasting the affected spots can be tricky and with the talented crew we have the customers applaud! This was one of our last week projects. We felt it was so complete that we wanted to lay it out as an exploded view of all the parts that a early 50's pickup consists of. There is alot more parts than you actually think and we didn't even start on the drivetrain for this one. This is a typical restoration we have been contracted for sandblasting services. Last year we did a big group of the city of Largo's generators that run the sewer lift stations in an event of no power. This one is behind the IFS building we just completed.

All of the steel parts that make up an automobile are generally overlooked in the budget of a restoration and are the parts that make a final touch to one. When restoring your classic, consider powder coating as a more durable option and most cases less expensive. Chassis look more authentic when restored in a "chassis black" and we can get that look if that's what you desire. This is a 1963 Corvette chassis that is hung.

Last week Blast Services got a call to do a mobile job at a historic property located in south St. Petersburg. The Southside Junior High property has been sitting empty for four years but now Hennesy construction services is resurrecting it. We were contracted through Joswig Construction, a local concrete contractor to prep the front entrance steps leading in to the school for an overcoat of concrete. Years of heavy coatings were stripped. Today we did a few tasks around the shop. The sandblast equipment requires routine maintenance on the mixing valve and valve system that directs air.
