Our humble beginnings date back to 1895 when Joseph Secondino, a stonemason by trade, founded A. Secondino & Son, Inc. in New York City. The company was responsible for the construction of significant projects such as the Manhattan District Courthouse, the Croton Dam and the Bronx Courthouse. The company relocated to southern Connecticut, where it quickly built a reputation of honesty, integrity and commitment to quality. This commitment has continued through five generations of the Secondino family.

As a full service general contractor, A Secondino & Son provides both new construction and complete renovation services for institutional, municipal, commercial, and industrial projects throughout the region. We utilize a blend of our own skilled workforce and subcontractors to obtain optimal performance and budget results. Our experienced team of project managers and estimators has worked closely with owners on many successful design-build projects. We have established relationships with design professionals and engineers which allow us to implement the design-build project model in an efficient and cost effective manner.
