W.A. Rose Construction is a general contractor with extensive experience with commercial, schools, nonprofit, public works and residential construction projects. We have an enviable track record of finishing projects on time and on budget. Our careful preconstruction planning and estimating, along with skilled project management and problem-solving expertise, enable us to deliver superior results that keep our clients coming back. We specialize in tenant improvement projects, seismic and structural upgrades, facility improvements, residential renovations and building-repair projects.
W.A. Rose has extensive experience renovating kitchens and bathrooms to meet our casual lifestyles. Most of today's kitchen remodels include tearing down at least one wall to create a modern, bright space. Beautiful new tile, flooring, countertops and soft LED lighting can turn dark, old-fashioned bathrooms into showpieces. For one Piedmont homeowner, we renovated the entire bath, including built-in floor-to-ceiling cabinets that greatly extended the home's storage capacity. An excellent example of W.A. Rose Construction's expertise in a whole-house remodel project was the complete transformation of a nondescript San Francisco row house, turning it into an exquisite craftsman-style jewel.
Many of W.A. Rose's commercial clients are located in older buildings that require significant structural work, a fresh look or a new floorplan to meet changing business needs. Project work may include cosmetic repairs, seismic or structural upgrades, plumbing, electrical or outdoor hardscape improvements. W.A. Rose completed a tenant improvement project for Baygreens, a restaurant in Oakland's Uptown neighborhood that specializes in healthy food. As with other projects in these aging Uptown buildings, Baygreens required a minor demolition and significant upgrades to accommodate industrial restaurant equipment.
