Mackenzie's animal sanctuary in Lake Odessa. They saved me from being euthanized in 2010 and gave me all the medication I needed to treat my heart worm. Chewy was rescued from Animal control by McKenzie's Animal Sanctuary in West Olive. He was suffering from a severe case of Heartworm and was scheduled to be put down later that week by Animal Control. After 2 months of extensive and aggressive treatment by McKenzie's for heartworm he had been cured. One of our owners adopted Chewy from McKenzie's.

Opened in 2012, the DeGraaf Interiors corporate office is home to numerous team members managing company operations, inventory, and commercial accounts. Approximately 15 staff members work out of this facility, which houses a reception area, multiple offices, a conference room, and a 20,000 square foot storage warehouse. Company trucks transport carpet, tile, laminate, hardwood, vinyl, ceramic, window treatments, and other interior and flooring materials between the corporate location either to the Hudsonville or the Cascade showroom, or to retail and commercial customers for installation.

I have been in the home interiors business since 2014, but I specialize in floor coverings. My passion is to work with clients on creating a space that is not only beautiful, but functional to their specific needs. I love taking what is often times an overwhelming project and turning it into a fun and memorable experience. Whether it's a new home or a remodel project there are so many options to pick from. As the first Shaw Design Center in West Michigan, DeGraaf Interiors is able to offer a wide collection of flooring possibilities. Our Cascade Design Center carries a selection of carpets, countertops, tile & stones, hardwoods and laminates. Although I am a Grand Rapids transplant, I have lived in the Midwest my entire life. I grew up in Grayling, Michigan, and I studied Interior Design in Adrian, Michigan. After college, I lived in Chicago, Illinois for a couple years and moved back to Michigan in 2014. I met my husband, Jonathon, in 2015, and after we were married, we relocated to Grand Rapids, where we have lived happily ever after with our two fur babies, Gus & Spencer.

Favorite place to visit is anywhere tropical, warm, and beach related. But my dream destination would be all over Europe - no one specific place - I would just love to hop all over and see as much as possible. My name is Sarah Connell and I graduated in the Summer of 2012 with my Bachelor Degree in Interior Design. I have been so blessed to be able to work for DeGraaf Interiors and have learned more than I could have ever imagined! Designing is my passion and working with wonderful co-workers and customers has made this job such a blast.

Prior to working in the flooring industry I received my Bachelors degree in Interior Design & Architecture. I offer a unique blend of experience of working on both commercial and residential projects. I enjoy the process of selecting the right products for each client's needs and watching over projects from the beginning to competition.

I am a 2009 Kendall graduate of Interior Design, and have five years experience prior to joining the DeGraaf team. I enjoy camping, traveling, skateboarding, and am a motorcycle enthusiast. Currently residing in Ottawa Hills, my future plans include starting a family with my fianc John, and expanding my design portfolio. I look forward to working with you on your home soon.

I am a decorator at DeGraaf Interiors and have been with the company since 1995. I work with retail customers and builders in the selection, estimating & sales of flooring, countertops & window treatments. My goal is to help my clients find products that fit their lifestyle as well as their budget. I enjoy the variety in my job as each new project I work on is different from the last.

I am currently a student at Grand Rapids Community College, finishing up my Associates in Interior Design. Working with interiors has always been a dream and passion of mine, and I am so honored to start that journey with Degraaf Interiors. I have been interning here for the past couple months, and could not be happier with where I am at. Already I have learned more then I could have ever imagined, and cannot wait to continue to learn all that there is to offer.

Cooking in my kitchen, shopping, painting in my art studio, or soaking up the sun at the beach! My home growing up was filled with antiques and beautiful art glass. My father, Larry Fill, was an antique appraiser and collector. He also had the travel bug to see the world and to seek out antiques. When I was 7 years old, he took me to Europe on a buying trip. We continued to travel to many interesting places. I think travel and seeing different things shaped my world of design and passion for beautiful interiors.

I love people! As the former owner of Columbo's Floors to Go, that was the part I loved the most, and I'm very glad to now work with the awesome people at DeGraaf Interiors. I love spending time with my beautiful wife and our three awesome children. My other passions include art, humor, listening to and playing music, movies, 80's & 90's pop culture, Star Wars and other geeky stuff. I am looking forward to working with the Degraaf team to provide you with the best floor covering experience.

I have been in the flooring industry since 1991 and with the DeGraaf Interiors team since 2012. I enjoy working with residential and commercial clients and enjoy the diverse scope of work my clients bring me. Since I work with builders as well as home owners I am able to cover a large variety of products and installation options with ease. My number one goal is to see my customers happy with their purchase. I work closely with my builders as well as my residential clients to make sure their products fit their family needs as well as their budget.

I have been with the DeGraaf team since 2003. I have been fortunate enough to work with many home owners, builders and designers in the area. I strive to give my opinion while letting my clients desires and personality show through.

I have been involved with estimating and drawing floor plans since 2000, and have been with DGI since 2013. I am the team member that comes out to your project or home and measures out all the spaces that we will be working on. I can measure for all the different types of floors we offer as well as countertops, backsplashes and showers, which we can now draw in 3D. I really enjoy drawing out the layouts of a project whether it is as simple as one room, or an entire house. I do in-home measures and estimates for the sales team of all 3 of our locations, so my daily travels take me all over, allowing me to see all kinds of different areas, neighborhoods and houses.

I am a 2020 high school graduate from Unity Christian. I am currently studying Business Management at Davenport University. I grew up in the flooring industry since my mother and uncle both are heavily involved in flooring and home design. DeGraaf Interiors has become like a family to me over the years and I have grown so much because of it.
