Chris is also a Certified Home Inspector, Certified Lead-Based Paint Renovation Contractor and a National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Certified Remodeler. He currently lives just outside of Portland with his wife of over 25 years and office manager, Julia.
We are calling Craftsman Construction for all our future projects! Chris Pete was our general contractor for a very difficult roofing project that other contractors had turned down because of the difficult job. Craftsman Construction tackled the job with professionalism and a can do attitude. The job sight was always left clean and tidy and everything promised was delivered, for a very reasonable price.
We had a fantastic experience working with Chris Pete, owner of Craftsman Construction. Our home in the Richmond neighborhood of SE Portland only had one bathroom. Chris Pete has a lot of experience working with older homes in Portland and has a great understanding of what is required in order to get the neccessary permits from the city when remodeling these homes. Chris also offered very creative design solutions that ended up not only saving many thousands of dollars in costs related to leveling the basement floor but we ended up with a nicer bedroom than we had drawn up for him in the first place.
Chris Pete of Craftsman Construction built my house nine years ago and we have called on them for several projects since, including rushing over in an emergency when we experienced some water damage.
