Gerhard's Kitchen & Bath store has been family owned and operated since 1940. It all started in 1897 when three tradesmen, Reinie Wesson, Henry Poehling and Ed Roesler pooled their resources together to create La Crosse Plumbing Supply Company. Over the years the La Crosse Plumbing Supply Company grew, opening several new locations throughout the Midwest. In 1997 La Crosse Plumbing Supply Company became First Supply Group. In 1940, Henry Poehling's son Gary, who had worked both as a truck driver and warehouseman, took over the business.
We have nothing but praise for Gerhard's in Delafield. Luann in particular went over and above to help us out, and was extremely helpful to us in making decisions. And they were good ones! The store is so well-laid out and has such great displays of product, it is a wonderful place to help you decide. The folks are well-informed, helpful, friendly and so professional. We purchased our fixtures, a vanity and countertops for a double bath remodel through Amanda and couldn't be happier. The variety of products in the showroom made visualizing our different options easier and we knew we could count on Amanda to understand the look we were going for and leading us in the right direction.
