Donohoe Real Estate Services was established in 1884 as John F. Donohoe Real Estate, a residential real estate firm serving Capitol Hill. With the creation of Donohoe Construction Company in 1955, we began to offer commercial services to our growing list of satisfied clients. We became Donohoe Real Estate Services in 1990, a reflection of our expansion into additional lines of business and increased third party work. Through the years, Donohoe Real Estate Services evolved into a full service commercial real estate enterprise serving the entire Washington and Baltimore Metro markets.

Our company opened its doors in 1884 as John F. Donohoe Real Estate, a residential real estate broker. We transitioned into commercial real estate at the turn of century and continued to evolve over the decades by expanding on our real estate expertise and local knowledge. In 1955, Donohoe Construction Company was formed and soon became one of five divisions under The Donohoe Companies. For more than 65 years, Donohoe Construction Company has been creating landmark buildings and shaping the real estate industry in the Washington DC area.
