The company's initial focus was on coal furnace repairs, stoker installations and gas conversions. William's sons, Herbert, William C. and David A. Boehmer, continued the tradition of providing quality HVAC service to their customers in the Pittsburgh area. They were pioneers in many areas, such as Service Agreements, effective business management techniques, customer satisfaction and computer integration. Boehmer Heating & Cooling is active in the industry trade association, the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America), and sits on the advisory board for Triangle Technical Institute.
