While many museums in the Bay Area are reopening, hands-on interactive exhibits are still not allowed in San Francisco. Since hands-on activities are what we do best at the Children's Creativity Museum-and what children naturally want to do!-we remain committed to our plan of reopening to the public in Spring 2021. In the meantime, we continue to provide free activities and learning resources online. Our educators are leading digital workshops on Outschool highlighting the activities you love in our museum-cartooning, animation, and creative coding.
The Children's Creativity Museum offers a creative and flexible work environment and exciting challenges for all of our employees. We have a highly diverse audience, staff, and Board of Directors with over 50% being people of color. Our organization values creativity and collaboration, in alignment with our mission and vision. They support and facilitate the visitor experience, lead workshops and field trips, and take ownership of semester-long projects.
