As an organization committed to becoming anti-racist, TNDC encourages all our staff to constantly be learning and growing. In addition to staff trainings and workshops, many departments read and watch material that helps them grow as people, service providers, and leaders. As we work to becoming an anti-racist organization, Equity in the Center's "Awake to Woke to Work: Building a Race Equity Culture" has become a powerful resource for TNDC. This resource offers a framework for how to shift a nonprofit's mindsets, practices, and systems to center racial equity.
