Awards reflect the end results of our work. As engineers of complex buildings and infrastructure all over the world, we know that these end results are a culmination of many variables - our client's objectives, the architect's design aesthetic, the users' fulfillment, functionality, and sustainability (both environmentally and financially). The value in awards is in how our work is measured and understood under close scrutiny. Win or lose, we learn much from the feedback on our submissions, which we use to improve future projects.
