My name is Kathy Kansier. I am a quilt teacher, quilt show judge and AQS Certified Quilt Appraiser. I travel to provide these services for guilds, shops, and quilt shows. I have been happily married to my husband, David for 40 years. We live in Southwest Missouri, between Springfield and Branson. David owns a construction company. We both grew up in Wisconsin, became born-again Christians in 1980, and served as missionaries to Mexico prior to moving to Missouri in 1993. Our seven children are grown and we are now enjoying being grandparents.
I’m almost done packing for my trip to the Gulf States Quilting Association’s four day retreat just outside New Orleans. My husband needs to help me get this all in the suitcase so it will close. Hopefully it’s not overweight. I hate re-arranging.
I’ll be traveling to New Orleans this week to teach for the Gulf States Quilting Association. The 4 day retreat is in Slidell. I’m excited. I’ve never been there before.
