Island Sash & Door is a small, narrowly focused company that specializes in windows, doors, skylights & shower doors. We work closely with you, your Building Professional, your Architect / Designer and the manufacturer to ensure the window & door products for your home or building project meet your objectives & vision - not simply your needs. With over four decades of experience in the window & door industry - in the Pacific Northwest - we are often able to accomplish design requirements, overcome compliance hurdles or solve product selection problems where others can't.
Yonkman Construction is proud to have Island Sash & Door as part of its team of trusted professionals. With more than 30 years of experience in the window and door industry in the Pacific Northwest, the professionals of Island Sash & Door will work directly with you and your builder to develop a window and door plan that is code-compliant and energy-efficient while harmonizing elegance and functionality. Kamera & Gilles worked with Island Sash & Door (IS&D) on a custom home project at Wahl Road Farm.
Island Sash & Door was built on "supply only" sales to the Custom Home Builder. We are proficient in blueprint take-offs and understand the subtle elements of harmonizing respect for design and your values and vision with code compliance, product selection, and budget. We are happy to field measure, consult on leading technology flashing and water stop products/methods and will supply your framers or installers with everything they need to ensure there are "no surprises" when your window and/or doors arrive.
Our new location in Eugene is the latest expansion for Island Sash and Door. Opened in June of 2020, Branch Manager, Gene O'Brien is building a Window and Door Hub for Western Oregon. Gene (an admitted and independently confirmed Window and Door Geek) started his career in this industry in 1989 when he joined the team at the local lumber yard and quickly became their window expert. Over the years Gene has bought, sold, specified, serviced, and installed every type of window & door product the industry has offered.
