Our custom drill seeding equipment is capable of performing 'no-till' seeding where seeds are drilled directly into the soil at the ideal depth without expensive soil preparation. The drill mechanically opens a furrow, places seeds into the soil at a specified depth, then covers seed in one pass. Drill Seeding places seed into direct contact with soil at a significantly reduced seeding rate compared to other methods producing effective, long-term vegetative cover and erosion control at a reduced cost.
Using our commercial-grade hydroseeder, seed, water, fertilizer, and wood fiber mulch are mixed together in a slurry and applied to prepared soil in a one-step process. At a fraction of the cost of sod, the mulch forms a green, sponge-like mat with several functions. 1. Mixing mulch and seed creates a blanket that insulates and protects tender seeds from extreme temperature changes and wind & water erosion. 2. As opposed to sod (where roots are cut), Hydroseeding grows one, solid lawn eliminating brown seams.
