Anne's garden designs range from refreshing or updating existing gardens to entire landscape plans for new or existing homes. She operates on the principal of "right plant in the right place" and can help you find plants that work well in your soil conditions. As a certified Rainscape designer, Anne can offer innovative design solutions for drainage and water issues. Anne believes people often just need more information so they can care for their plants properly. Anne will even prepare a "plant care calendar" customized for your landscape should you need a refresher.

Anne Larson has worked as a gardener and horticulturist in the Des Moines metro area since 1999 when she spent the fall working in the test gardens of Meredith Corporation. From there Anne spent the next 15 years working for area landscape, maintenance and design firms. She led landscape maintenance care for a homeowners from 2000 to 2014 and came to love being the hands-on expert who met her clients needs. Whether the landscape was big or small, old or new, fancy or heirloom--she came to love the creative individuality of each beautiful space.
