Regional Land Surveyors, Inc. is a traditional land surveying company with nontraditional surveying capabilities. Based in central North Carolina, Regional Land Surveyors is licensed to provide services in North Carolina, South Carolina and California.

Gale M. Brown founded Regional Land Surveyors, Inc. in 1996, after spending the earlier part of his career working in a large engineering firm. He brought to his new company excellent communication skills with engineers, architects, and both public and private sector clients. In the past two decades, RLS has grown into a full-service surveying firm, offering traditional surveying services with non-traditional surveying capabilities. With a combined over 85 years of professional experience, Regional Land Surveyors now employs 12 field crews led by four project managers and supported by nine CAD technicians.

Regional Land Surveyors, Inc. provides both topographic and volumetric surveys. Topographic surveys accurately measure both the vertical and horizontal aspects of the surface of the land, while volumetric surveys report the volume of a specific area such as a stockpile or containment area. Together, these two surveys provide a comprehensive picture of surface features, whether natural or man-made. RLS uses the latest technology, including 3D laser scanning, to provide a precise and informative survey.

Every residential building project, from the smallest addition to the largest apartment development, needs the specific home services that only a licensed surveyor provides. Regional Land Surveyors' home services include: site plan, footing stakeout, construction stakeout, brick point stakeout, foundation as built, loan/physical survey, ALTA/NSPA Land Title Surveys, design survey, and final platting.
