Masterpiece Doors has been in the door business since 1971. During this time we have offered many different styles of doors, including both traditional wood, as well as iron. With the extreme levels of maintenance required for both of these products, we knew that there had to be something better. About 10 years ago, we found it! We developed something very new and unique. For the first time, a revolutionary product in the door industry: the composite door. The composite material stands the test of time in extreme weather conditions, while still allowing for a truly beautiful and high quality design.
Our Premium Modern French Door is a contemporary version of traditional style doors from France. Typically, French Doors are simple, divided light doors of varying combinations of glass lights, sizes and shapes. However, the modernized version of the door features a very narrow mutton and generally more narrow rails/styles (the perimeter edges of the door). This lends the styling of the door to be minimalist and cleaner compared to the traditional style, complimenting today's popular trends.

We took out the transom which you can see had broken seals and simply had the new door made a little smaller than the total rough opening. My installer said it was easy to install because it was slightly smaller than the current framing. Took him about 3 hours for install. He was very impressed.
