Repairs Unlimited, Inc. was created in 1986 by Emory F. "Jigger" James and Steve Galey, as a one-stop shop for home repair services formulated out of James and Galey's personal experience in general contracting and real estate development. After two years of operation, the entire operating approach was reorganized. Client Representative positions were created whose specific job was to liaison between clients and our construction crews. Advocating for and clearly communicating the clients' priorities, concerns, and needs to the operations team has propelled Repairs Unlimited, Inc. and RUI Construction into new markets.
Since we opened our doors in 1986, we have been a leader in helping owners and managers as well as businesses restore their property quickly and professionally. We are a preferred provider for many insurance carriers and listed in their approved property repair programs. A recent project for Tapco, based in Lenexa, Kansas, exemplifies how essential minimized downtime is to a business. The rental and direct sales company of floor mats, towels, aprons, mops and sanitation supplies experienced an electrical fire that compromised the roof of its metal structure.
As we arrive on the scene at your property, we will do an Initial Assessment to determine the extent of water damage. Infrared imaging, hygrometers, moisture meters, and temperature sensors will help us determine what has been affected and how badly the damage is or will become. We implement Mobilization efforts to support our project objectives and priorities. Determining the required resources and supplemental efforts required during various phases of your project is essential. Water extraction or pumping, if required, will typically be done concurrently with the initial assessment.
Since we opened our doors in 1986, we have been a leader in helping owners and managers restore their property quickly and professionally. We are a preferred provider for many insurance carriers and listed in their approved property repair programs. After a devastating fire, Repairs Unlimited worked together with our client and the Historic Society of Liberty to transform this charming old house into an open modern oasis while maintaining a tribute to original character and charm. We love bringing your vision to life and creating a space that serves you well!
