I just bought a house with a hot tub and the water drained so we looked up a Jacuzzi dealer and were give Ace Swim and Leisure. We called on a Saturday and were told that the repair person doesnt work on weekends and he would call us Monday which he did and said he would come out that day and of course call us before he arrived so we could leave work. No call no show Monday. We called back Tuesday and same thing, no call no show. We again called today and were told we are not on the schedule for today, we would have to leave a message and the repair person doesnt come back in the office to retrieve messages till 4pm. So looks like no one again today. They must have so much business that they need people to beg them to get service.
I just sent this email to the stove manufacturer. Lets see what their response is. On June 6, 2013, We went to Ace Swim & Leisure to purchase a P68. We were informed the only one available was last years floor model (on display in the store we were in). On this date, we placed a down payment to hold the stove for us. Several days later, we received a call stating that one had been sold, but another with a decorative package was available for the same price. The one we finally received on August 1, was a 2011 model, no decorative package (we really didn't want the package, we really just wanted/ expected last year's floor model). When the weather started turning a bit cold, (around September 5th) we attempted to start the stove for the first time. The stove was not igniting the pellets, they were just being pushed into the catch pan. When the repair person showed up, (after trying to avoid the visit), he stated that the stove was shipped with a defective part, and even if this was a 2013 model, it may have the same problem. He stated that this was a common issue. I have not seen hide nor hair from him in about two weeks, each time I call I get sent to a voice mail, I am still waiting to hear back. This company is representing your product! The temperatures have been dropping, and it is getting very cold in here. We are frustrated, as they are not fixing the problem, and it is just now early autumn. What should we do? Where should we go?
