Our Residential Division has done very diverse types of projects. We at TKS want to empower our homeowners and contractors with knowledge to guide them in making the right choices that will accommodate their needs. We work alongside people such as commercial realtors, property owners & managers, local general contractors, school districts and municipalities. Our Agricultural division works directly with such people as farm owners, farm managers, local general contractors, pole building contractors, and steel frame building contractors.

TKS Concrete Specialist Inc. is a Central Illinois based concrete construction company created in January, 2004 by Troy Smith. After 10 years of working in the trade, Troy had developed a firm sense of the concrete construction industry. He also possessed a strong drive to form a company that could represent both his talent for the art of concrete construction and his desire to provide clients with amazing customer service that could not be matched. Troy's experience in the field began with working in the private sector doing residential projects.

Here at TKS, our Agricultural division works directly with such people as farm owners, farm managers, local general contractors, pole building contractors, and steel frame building contractors. In doing so we are able to apply the methods needed for their specific agricultural projects meet their needs in the time required to get the project done. Agricultural work often includes large shop floors, bin pads and foundations, site grade work of dirt/gravel, containment walls and floors, and exterior pavement for feedlots and driveways.

Decorative concrete is the use of concrete as an aesthetic enhancement to a structure, while still serving its function as an integral part of the building itself such as floors, walls, driveways and patios. The transformation of concrete into decorative concrete is achieved through the use of a variety of materials that may be applied during the pouring process or after the concrete is cured. These materials and/or systems include but are not limited to stamped concrete, acid staining, decorative overlays, & decorative concrete counter tops.
