We will never stop fighting the damaging effects of foundation seepage and poor air quality in homes. We are committed to restoring and maintaining the value and safety of every home we serve. Our house was built in 1920 with a dirt root cellar under it. We had ValueDry come in and excavate the space and waterproof it. Several very rainy years later our basement is dry and comfortable. Today we had our annual maintenance and the tech, Kyle, did a great job. We are very happy with the job they did a few years ago and the continuing maintenance they have done since then.

Or maybe you've noticed bowed basement walls. You may have noticed these cracks or bowed walls while trying to figure out why your basement is wet all the time. We're glad you're exploring foundation repair, because over time, these cracks can widen. Value Dry Waterproofing performs foundation repair for homeowners and businesses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. At Value Dry, we believe you deserve the benefits of a home that defends itself from water intrusion. The first step in foundation repair is for our experts to perform an inspection at your home.

Value Dry Waterproofing performs egress window installation as part of our basement waterproofing and basement remodeling services. Many state and local building codes require egress windows for basement rental units, as well as in new home construction. If you have a bedroom in your basement, building codes require you to have a means of egress, or escape. This can be a Bilco door, egress windows, or patio doors for a walkout basement. An egress window is a type of large window well that provides an alternative or emergency exit from your basement to the outside.

Indoor air quality is often overlooked as a potential health hazard in the home. Wet and humid basements or crawl spaces affect the quality of air in the entire household. Without proper ventilation, humid, musty, moldy air gets trapped in the basement or crawl space and becomes stagnant. This can lead to unwanted smells as well as unhealthy breathing conditions in other areas of your home. Why do basements and crawl spaces tend to be musty? One reason is that heavier, damp air settles in the lower levels of the home, basement, and crawl spaces.

We'll do the waterproofing and set up our remodeling partners to create the dream basement you've always wanted. Once we have properly waterproofed your foundation, our remodeling partners will work with you to turn your room into a beautiful, healthy living space the whole family can enjoy. From basement design to construction, painting, finishing, and more! Most importantly, our Value Dry team will educate you on how to protect your remodeling investment from damaging foundation seepage. If you're considering transforming your basement, call Value Dry today to schedule a free consultation.

Did you know the condition of your crawl space affects the environment of your living space upstairs? It's true. A damp, musty crawl space can cause mold and indoor air quality issues in your home or business. The good news is you can combat the threat of water and moisture by sealing off your crawl space. That is essentially what crawl space encapsulation does. Water and condensation can easily infiltrate your crawl space. This is because crawl space floors are usually dirt or gravel. They are occasionally concrete.

We perform sump pump installation both as part of a comprehensive basement waterproofing system, and as part of crawl space encapsulation. Depending on the size of your home or business, we may install more than one sump pump, along with a sump pump battery backup. One of the most cost-effective and reliable ways to protect your home and belongings from water damage - especially in your basement or crawl space - is through the installation of a home sump pump system. A sump pump is a water pump that pumps water out of your crawl space or basement.

After a couple of months and some decent amount of rain I'm here to update my review and say that James Fletcher President/CEO himself came out and dug up my French drain and got it working correctly. I changed my rating to average because I still had to go through my home owners' insurance to fix my basement. I wish that there were more checks and balances in place to ensure it was done correctly the first time. Furthermore, it took my having to write the original review and video recording the failure for them to admit their wrongdoing.

I had a mitigation company come in to do clean up the water damage in the my kitchen and with further inspection they found out I had standing water and mold in my crawl space. So they recommend you guys to do the work. With in a couple of days Bill came over to check it out and told us what needs to be done. The crew that came out was awesome very knowledgeable.

Value Dry completed a full-perimeter, two-sump pump system on our basement in Springfield, VA. We've experienced water issues in our basement going back to the late 1990s with several hurricanes (Isabel, Irene, Sandy) all doing damage. We interviewed dozens of companies over the years and finally pulled the trigger with Value Dry and we were not disappointed. Their crew was professional, knowledgeable, personable, and treated us as if we owned the company! Extremely pleased with their work which was top notch in every regard. They took time out of their work to answer all our questions and made sure we understood how to operate and maintain our sump system. Job Well Done! Would highly recommend them to family and friends. THANK-YOU!
