The Gardener

Founded in 1984, The Gardener has been a trusted destination for home and garden enthusiasts in Berkeley, California. Our Berkeley flagship store, relocated to a larger space in 1987, offers a curated selection of products designed to enhance both indoor and outdoor living. We specialize in eco-friendly home cleaning supplies, durable outdoor furniture from France, and unique gardening tools sourced globally. Our commitment to quality extends to partnerships with local artisans and international designers, ensuring a diverse range of items that reflect both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Over four decades, we have expanded to include stores in Healdsburg and San Francisco, though our Berkeley location remains the heart of our operations.

We pride ourselves on offering complimentary gift wrapping, personalized wedding registry services, and a carefully selected inventory that caters to everyday needs and special occasions. Our team combines deep expertise in landscape design with a passion for sustainable living, creating a shopping experience that values craftsmanship and environmental responsibility. Whether visiting our store or shopping online, customers can expect exceptional service and products that celebrate the beauty of seasonal living.
