MD Marine Electric was founded in Early 2000 by David "Mac" Davey to service the electrical needs of small vessels such as tugboats, barges and fishing boats. Today, MD Marine Electric operates in multiple states and maintains union contracts to ensure a work force for any sized project. MD Marine has two basic marine divisions, the first is to ensure the 24 hour, emergency maintenance needs for tugboats, barges, and fishing boats. The second division is focused primarily on large projects. The result is that MD Marine has a well-established track record in the successful accomplishment of these large projects while also delivering high quality electrical maintenance to the company's core business area of smaller vessels.
