Trees, Forests and Landscapes

Since 1990, Trees, Forests and Landscapes has been dedicated to tree care and preservation in the St. Louis region. Our founder, William J. Spradley, built the company on the principle of hiring arborists with shared passion and ethics, resulting in a team where all staff are ISA-certified and many hold degrees in horticulture, forestry, or arboriculture. As a deliberately small company, we prioritize personalized attention and professionalism in tree care, plant selection, and urban landscape management. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our use of native plants and low-impact equipment, including specialized machinery to minimize lawn damage. We actively contribute to community projects, such as preserving champion bur oaks, enhancing university campuses, and supporting urban forestry education through workshops and donations.

Our expertise extends to lightning protection installations, historic tree preservation, and integrated pest management, serving both residential and commercial clients. We maintain affiliations with leading professional organizations, including the International Society of Arboriculture and the Missouri Green Industry Alliance. Our reputation for excellence is evidenced by long-term client relationships and testimonials from institutions like the Missouri Botanical Garden. We combine scientific knowledge with artistic pruning techniques to ensure tree health, safety, and aesthetic value. Through decades of experience, we continue to provide tailored solutions that enhance urban forests while maintaining ecological integrity.
