At the local and state level, SMACNA St. Louis plays a critical role in forming legislation impacting the sheet metal industry and its community of workers. We represent our member contractors' best interest, serving as their eyes, ears and voice in Missouri legislature. SMACNA St. Louis also mobilizes the workforce when immediate grassroots action is needed. The voice of our members is also heard on the federal level through the national SMACNA organization which is based in the Washington, D.C. area.
The various committees in the association assist and report to the Board of Directors. In general, the purpose of the committees is to promote the union sheet metal industry, provide service and education to our members, and to enhance the labor / management relationship. Develops events for the association to celebrate and enjoy socially, top priorities currently are the Golf Tournament, SMACNA Products Trade Show and Installation Dinner. Meets quarterly with labor partners to discuss any issues which may arise, works to keep the partnership vital.
SMACNA St. Louis member contractors are expert sheet metal and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) professionals serving four core industries across the greater St. Louis metropolitan region.
