Indiana Weathermakers was started by Wilbur Peine in Indianapolis in 1947. After working in development of refrigeration system controls, sales and installation of equipment for Willis Carrier, Granddaddy Peine wanted to settle with his family close to his boyhood home in Indiana. With hard work and the support of Carrier, family, and friends he started the business we treasure today. Peine Engineering has many years, (71 and still counting) of experience on industrial, medical, institutional and commercial projects.

Peine Engineering is ASME & National Board Certified to perform weld repairs to high pressure and low pressure boilers as well as pressure vessels. We certify our welders to ASME & National Board codes and weld procedures. Every boiler or pressure vessel repair we perform follows the rules in our Quality Control Manual which is in accordance with the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC). Our R Stamp is subjected to a joint review every three years which involves representatives from our Authorized Inspection company and a representative from the National Board.

We are well-versed in all aspects of installation, boiler repair, combustion tuning, control upgrades, boiler service and maintenance, as well as chiller. Peine Engineering provides service on all makes and models of industrial and commercial burners and boilers. Our factory trained and authorized service technicians have the knowledge and field experience to perform combustion analysis of the burner in oil.
