Standard Heating & Cooling has been a HVAC contractor in central Illinois since 1939, specializing in residential, commercial, industrial and institutional HVAC systems. We also provide sheet metal fabrication and installation as well as ventilation projects. Our service department assists in the installation and start-up of new equipment and repair services after the project is complete. Standard Heating & Cooling was established in 1939 by the Harms Family. Upon the retirement of John Harms in 2018, the Ewalt Family assumed ownership and management of Standard Heating & Cooling. Under the leadership of Heather and Britt Ewalt, the tradition of focusing on customer satisfaction and relying on our loyal customer referrals, continues on today and into the future. Standard Heating & Cooling stands as Peoria's leading heating and cooling contractor. We design, engineer and install complete heating and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.

Standard Heating & Cooling has the capability to design most HVAC projects. Our staff has over 50 years of experience in designing small to large design build projects. Standard Heating & Cooling can develop CAD drawings of our design for project use and coordination with other trades. A "stamped drawing" is available, when required. If your client has a need for service after the building is complete, we provide routine repair and maintenance services.

Standard Heating & Cooling has been serving the Peoria area since 1939 and was owned and operated by the Harms Family. Heather Ewalt assumed ownership and management of Standard Heating & Cooling upon the retirement of John Harms. She will continue the Company's tradition to focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction as well as increasing customer referrals and community involvement. Heather is responsible for the daily operation of the company overseeing all administrative and business functions including, marketing, payroll, etc.
