Solar Pool Heating
Our solar pool heating systems use patented Sun-tracking technology to maximize heat absorption. Water circulates through durable polymer collectors warmed by sunlight, then returns to the pool. Systems integrate with existing pumps and filters, reducing energy costs by up to 80% while extending swim seasons.
Hybrid Heating Systems
Combine solar collectors with gas heaters or heat pumps for optimal efficiency. Our hybrid systems prioritize solar energy as the primary heat source, automatically switching to backup systems when needed. This approach cuts energy bills while ensuring consistent pool temperatures year-round.
Collector Installation
We install Aquatherms NSF-50 certified solar collectors, engineered for extreme durability. The direct-flow design works seamlessly with modern high-efficiency filtration systems. Available in configurations for residential pools, commercial facilities, and multi-deck arrays, all backed by industry-leading warranties.
System Maintenance
Our maintenance services ensure long-term performance of solar heating systems. Technicians inspect collectors, control units, and plumbing for optimal function. Regular servicing extends system lifespan beyond 20 years, maintaining efficiency and preventing costly repairs through proactive care.
Exclusive Aquatherm Systems
As the exclusive SF East Bay distributor for Aquatherm, we offer the Ecosun Solar Pool Heating Collector. These systems feature corrosion-resistant polymer construction and stainless steel hardware, making them the most tested and trusted solar pool heaters since 1976.
Questions
How does solar pool heating work?
Solar pool heating uses collectors to absorb sunlight, warming water that circulates back to your pool. Our systems integrate with existing pumps and filters for seamless operation.
What are the cost savings?
Solar heating can reduce energy costs by up to 80%. Systems typically pay for themselves within two years through lower utility bills.
How long do installations take?
Most residential installations complete in 1-2 days. Larger commercial projects may take up to a week, depending on system complexity.
Do systems work in cloudy weather?
Solar heaters operate effectively on partly cloudy days. For consistent heating, hybrid systems add gas or electric backup for overcast conditions.
What warranties are offered?
Aquatherm collectors include a 10-year limited warranty. Our workmanship carries a 5-year guarantee, with systems tested to last over 20 years.
Can solar heating work with my existing system?
