Since the early 1900s Idaho Materials & Construction has built The Preferred Source of quality sand, rock, landscape products, ready-mixed concrete, asphalt, paving and construction services. We offer our customers the broadest range of quality products and services throughout Southern Idaho. In 1972, Vern and Hanni Hinkle founded Idaho Sand and Gravel Company to supply rock products to retail customers in the Boise, Idaho area. We soon expanded into asphalt production, paving and construction services and have asphalt plants in Nampa, Boise and Twin Falls, Idaho. We offer a complete line of services including aggregate and asphalt production, asphalt paving, road construction, site work, mass excavation, gravel operations and trucking. Idaho Concrete Company's history dates back to the early 1900s when founder, George Jesson, jack-of-all-trades, offered services that ranged from the manufacturing of concrete pipe, pre-cast concrete, pre-stressed concrete, ready -mix concrete, and even asphalt paving.

We deliver sand, rock & landscape products to the areas in and around Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Caldwell, Nampa/Boise, Emmett and Mountain Home, Idaho. We offer a wide variety of specialty landscape rock products, sand, colored aggregates, rock mulches, trail chat, topsoil, mulch, and bark products. Many of the products available can be used to create xeriscape or water-wise landscapes resulting in varied, colorful, and even lush gardens which require 70% less water than traditional landscapes.

Asphalt is one of the most sustainable construction materials. We produce asphalt at 16 permanent and 2 portable hot mix asphalt facilities. Many of our asphalt plants have earned the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) Diamond Achievement Award and many projects have won quality awards and performance bonuses from national organizations and customers. Our mixes meet local county and state specifications. We also incorporate recycled asphalt to make our asphalt mixes even more sustainable.

Ready-mixed concrete is produced throughout Idaho at plants certified by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA). State-of-the-art dispatch and communication systems are used to help ensure the timeliness of deliveries. An expert staff of drivers, salespeople, operators and quality control professionals are a resource available to help customers succeed. Idaho Materials & Construction is experienced in designing and delivering many different specialty concrete mixes including fiber reinforced concrete, high-content fly-ash mixes, self-consolidating concrete, and pervious concrete pavement.
