Commercial carpets are normally used in office buildings and high traffic commercial areas. Most commercial carpets are either short cut pile or short loop pile construction that will mat less and wear longer than all the other styles of carpet.
Porcelain Tile has all of the benefits of Ceramic Tile. The primary advantage however is that Porcelain Tile is a more refined claying making them harder and less porous than Ceramic Tile. These Porcelain Tiles have the clay color running through the entire tile. This helps if you chip a tile then you will still see the same overall color. Some Full Body Porcelain Tiles also have a glaze design on top to match the center color of the tile. Some of these tiles also come "unglazed" and require more maintenance (see below).

LVP/LVT flooring is a highly resilient floor. Most of these types of floors are photographs or designs of hardwood or tile imprinted onto a strong inner core solid waterproof material and then protected with a top wear layer. There are different levels of wear layer (the higher the better). These types of floors are resistant (not as resistant as laminate) to scratching, denting, fading, staining and hold up well to everyday busy families. Vinyl plank products typically do scuff more than laminate floors so if you have a very busy household (large dogs, lots of kids, heavy traffic, etc.) and this is your primary concern or focus then laminate might be your best option.
