At ZappBug, we are committed to helping people eliminate bed bug infestations. We've designed a set of free tutorials that shows you how to get rid of bed bugs in 8 steps. Armed with this information you can make your home completely bed bug free. I was so distraught when I found out I had bed bugs. I contacted customer service at Zappbug oven. They responded to all of my emails. I studied all of their incredibly helpful videos, and I felt armed and ready to go to battle with these critters. My wife and I travel a lot and have been concerned with the recent problems with bedbugs in even the nicest hotels out there, so we purchased this.

120F is the magic temperature: Bed bugs begin to die when the ambient temperature reaches 113 F, and die within minutes at 120F. Kills all life stages: All life stages of bed bugs from eggs to nymphs to adults, will die with heat. Safe: These temperatures are low enough to be safe for almost all of your belongings, including electronics. Heat treatment has several benefits over treating bed bugs with chemicals like pesticides. Most pesticides require repeated treatments and residual sprays that stay in your house for weeks.

ZappBug is a company based out of Seattle and was founded by Cameron Wheeler in 2012. After launching with our initial ZappBug Oven we moved on to our current line of products starting in late 2013, with more on the horizon. While we're still a young company we're eager to grow with the pest control industry and help people eliminate bed bugs! Cameron is one of the founders of ZappBug. He graduated from Washington State University in 2009 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked for a series of start-ups that gave him the know-how and resources to start ZappBug.

You can't control if other children bring bed bugs to school but you can make sure that your child's stuff is safe and bed bug free. Bed bugs are being found every day in schools. These infestations grow rapidly over the course of a couple days and spread from classroom to classroom, between lockers, in library books, and even crawl into your child's backpack and belongings. The most important items you will want to pay attention to are the child's backpack and jacket. Bed bugs love to hide and will spread while these items are near each other: on buses, hung up, or even on the back of chairs.

We are going to look at several options for bed bug proof storage. After you heat treat your items you're going to want to store them in bed bug proof bags or containers until you finish treating the rest of your belonging. If you have any items you can't heat treat storing them in bed bug proof container for a year and a half will kill any bed bugs in them and prevent them from escaping and re-infesting your home. We highly recommend giant Ziploc. They come in an assortment of sizes and are great to store your heat treated clothing.

Bed bug infestations have increased exponentially in the last fifteen years. These pests were seldom seen in the United States for many years. Unfortunately, bed bugs are now a common pest. We've seen bed bug infestations occur in a wide variety of businesses and spaces. However, few organizations face the same kind of challenges as nonprofits that serve economically disadvantaged populations. Of these, organizations that seek to address homelessness and housing inequality may face the greatest challenges.
